UV Ray continues partnership with Gidue

UV Ray is to continue an existing agreement with Nuova Gidue, which will see the company equip the press manufacturer with UV curing equipment.

The UV systems are said to ensure the maximum results required by this range of machines, such as low costs, simplified management, security as well as high levels of quality, productivity and reliability.

UV Ray has also launched a dichroic reflector, whose small dimensions mean it can be incorporated into any machine. It adopts PF technology, employed for the first time by UV Ray to enhance the reflector. The reflector is available with water cooling, maintaining the same dimensions and characteristics.

A new curing option with a chill roll has also been unveiled. Designed with a dual chamber system, it was designed for film applications on semi-rotary machines or offset presses.

Meanwhile, the company has announced its move to a new facility, located in Pregnana Milanese, Italy, which will double production capacity. The site will host a warehouse and a new production line will be added to the existing equipment.

The production lines related to analogue systems will be replaced by new digital system production lines, as well as test lines in two separate areas.

The research and development department has received new investment and will operate independently from the production and testing areas. A showroom will allow demonstrations of the reflectors and other products.

When complete, the facility will be highly automated to allow better management of orders and service.
